During my contract with Disney, I had the opportunity to work on a Lucas-branded project refreshing the packaging design for Grogu Gummies.
Goal The objective was to modernize the packaging in a way that aligned with Disney’s high creative standards while also making the product more appealing and engaging to guests in retail environments.
Concept I introduced the idea of incorporating a clear bottom window into the package design. This strategic detail allowed guests to actually see the gummies inside, which not only enhanced trust and transparency but also elevated the product’s shelf presence. The clear window created an interactive and playful touchpoint, reflecting Grogu’s curiosity and charm, while reinforcing Disney’s commitment to memorable brand experiences.
Result The refreshed design was approved and rolled out across retail. Seeing my concept come to life—now featured at Disney Springs and Hollywood Studios—has been a proud milestone. The packaging update enhanced guest engagement at the shelf and strengthened the product’s connection to the beloved Grogu character.
